This topaz is completely untreated; no heat, no oil, no isotopes. This is a very sparkly, large necklace that is unapologetic, but still elegant because of the beautiful craftsmanship of the cutting. One really feels in these large stones, the rarity of the natural gem and the miracle of its clarity, but also the amazing craftsmanship of the cutter who shaped the stones and created the precise and multifarious facets that allows the light to bounce around and out of the stones. Quite a rare and exciting piece. I see this as a formal day necklace.It looks wonderful in low light, however, even strobe lighting, so its great for a night on the town. The necklace is beautiful when paired with pearls.
